    Question Falken Tires?

Anyone know about these? Consumer reports was impressed with the Ze-512 as a "Performance All-Season" tire.
    It's idomatic, beatch.

I have falken azenis as my summer tires, and they are amazing. Quite possibly the stickiest tires i've ever had. They wear pretty fast though, and are pretty loud at highway speeds, but my car is kinda loud anyway so its not a big deal. Perfect around tahoe, as it never rains, but nearly impossible to drive in snow. Not sure about their other tires, but I have heard mostly good things. They also make some pretty good gravel rally tires too. I got mine, in the 15 inch size for 52 bucks a tire, so a good deal as well.

I had the ze-502 on an Olds Intrigue. Great wet & dry handling. So-so snow handling, I tried to avoid hills when it snowed back east. low cost tire, but lots of road noise. I had to turn up the radio.

I got rid of the car when I moved to CO a couple years ago.

Had some Falken's (sorry, but I'm just not anal enough to know the model #) on my Saab 900 a couple years ago. Pretty good tire, wore quickly, but was about half the price of everything else out there. All in all, I'd buy 'em again if the price was equivalent, if they were 70-80% as much as Michy's or Yok's I'd go with the higher $ tire.
I should probably change my username to IReallyDon'tTeleMuchAnymoreDave.

Check out tirerack.com for reviews of tires. There are lots of tire nerds out there, and most of them seem to post reviews of their tires on this site.

Don't know the Falkens that well. But if you're considering dedicated snows, and you're on a budget I heartily reccomend these bad boys:
    Winterforce M+S from tirerack.com.

I used the Azenis when I used to autocross. Stickest non R compound I've used, and great for the price. I got about 9000 miles of highway driving, including a season of autocrossing and one lapping day.

Havent used any of there other tires, but if the Azenis is any indication, I wouldnt hesitate to buy another set.
