    Fisheye for POV??

Is there a way to make a Fisheye "lens" for a VIO POV?

Someone showed me once how to mod a cell phone camera into a fisheye, and I'm trying to think of some ideas to mod a POV lens into a fisheye.

Somebody posted a vid from some dude who holds a camera at arm's length and shoots back at himself skiing/snowboarding. It was pretty badass. Don't know what he's using, but many lipstick cams are actually slightly fisheyed (and very wide)

That would be the only pov clip I've ever watched start to finish.....................shot by our man provo on a 5d mark II.

    35mm lenses bitches!

There's got to be a screw on wide angle for the pov cams. If not by them, then check century optics.

Do the POVs even have filter threads on the front? I seem to remember somebody looking for a way to mount a ND filter to one.

No threads=mounting a fish adapter will be a major bitch, if even possible.

If you want to try a DIY approach, you need some seriously convex glass and a way to attach it. My prediction, it will probably turn out a pretty craptastic image.

Edit: Yeah Provo's clip was $$xTits

fish eye will be hard on a pov... as the optics need to work out and there are not ways to not ghetto mount anything in front of it.

Aren't the lenses themselves kind of more like 'caps?'

I really thought that viosport made one.

I know that VIO makes lens filters and lens protectors for the POV, which just kind of clamp on.

I'm not sure they make a fisheye. It is already a wide angel, so i'm not even sure a fisheye would work.

Not for the VIO POV, but I have superwide/fisheye lipstick camera that I special order once in awhile for customers. I may have another one on hand.
