    Rossi bindings

Is there is anyway to take the demo plates off of a pair of rossi 140's? I would rather it not be so easy for people to change my bindings for their feet, if my skis should walk off one day.......

No dice, the heel track and adjustment mechanism is different on retail and demo Look bindings.

I agree with you there... but the nice thing about demo bindings it that you can move the toe forward and back. I've got demo's on my launchers and thought about the very same thing. I usually bring my grill and cook lunch at the car (and bring my skis with me back to the car), so I try not to leave my rides anywhere un attended for too long. I don't usually go into the lodge for anything, unless I am going into the bar, in which case I'd go put my skis in my car - in my Thule box that doesn't lock............ hmmmm.........wait a min... DOH!

    nevermind.

you can take the toe off the rail and put a factory riser under it. the heel can be swaped out with another older look/rossi heel piece or you can leave it as is. the only place it is dangerous to leave them is at the bottom of the hill. not too many people are going to change your binding size or ski off with them in hand. the problem comes when they can just throw them over their shoulder and walk to the car like everyone else leaving.

edit: and yes it does take balls to ski a demo track. they scare me.

Hey, I need two new pairs of bindings (and can't even afford 1)and I found these that never got mounted from 2 years ago in the back of the shop.................

So not that great of an idea, eh? I was kind of worried about the heel or toe moving during on of my extremo first decents.

I wish i could ski on miss matched salomon bindings.........skier666 have i told you, your my hero lately?

If you spent more time fluffing The 6s cock and less time talking he'd tell you where to find real bindings for $40.

I don't mind the cock tease here in SF....Kush1 is good at it.

Don't give me this BS you can't find cheap bindings...case in point.

2 nights ago, SF, near Golden Gate Park...

A pair of Salomon 997's DIN to 14 used probably 10 times on a pair of Super Force 9 3s's...Mint...brought a screwdriver and pulled them off...$40.

Seriously, look for older skis for sale on Ebay and Craiglist, if they don't list the binding, ASK. If they say salomon make sure the seller knows what DIN is and make sure its to 14....if they are still clueless ask for a pic or go to their house.

Yep, I scored some Salomon S900 green springs (Din 14-20) for $45 on eBay after the 5 year old DH skis they were on didn't sell for $200.
