Thumbs up It's Nudy Magazine Day!

Ok, it's update the potie room library day. Good lord, you can blow a wad quick buying ski mags. I went into the news stand in town - he told me he gets mags before anyone else in town - so I pop in and there was the new Powder. Grab it up, start to pull away.... wait.... I'll grab the new Skiing for some variety..... well, better grab Freeze too; just to see what the kids are up to these days.... ooh, new Coulior is here.... and Backcountry..... ok, that should do it.... wait, there's Freeskier.... NAH, don't want Freeskier...

Holy crap, that got expensive.... but I'll be taking extra long shits now - the kind that your legs fall asleep from your elbows sitting on your thighs from holding the mag......

I wish it'd hurry up and snow, damnit.

    me too!
Was up at Alta this afternoon picking up the kids passes and it is cooling off nicely. Stopped by Snowbird to pick up some stickers for my little brother who asked for as many as I could get my hands on for a coffee table project. Alta handed me 24 stickers for free. Went to snowbird and they wanted two bucks per sticker. What a crock of shit. When the lady told me I asked her if she was joking and she had no reply. Shit she wouldn't even look me in the eye to tell me she was serious about charging two bucks per sticker. Snowbird might have some kick ass terrain but they are still overpriced from lift tickets to hotdogs to stickers and should be ashamed of themselves.
I can't wait for it to snow so I can ski Altabird

You missed adding Skier "Canadian Ski Culture" to the library. Actually I don't think I have seen any mention of Skier here on TGR. A cool mag put out by the guys at SBC Media

Yeah, I've seen that one before, but my mag guy didn't have it this go around. I'll as him if he still carries it.

It's funny, all the other mags put out their buyer's guides this month, but Pmag was on top of it last month. Freeze is only park skis and fat twins, as to be expected. Skiing's is mostly all mountain carvers and mid fats, again, as to be expected. They call the small fat skis section "pro and custom" skis. But at least their testers included Gordy and Davenport.
Skiing did have a blurp on Fischer's WIRELESS COMPUTER-AIDED BINDING (priced at nearly $1,100). WHAT IN GOD'S NAME DO YOU NEED A COMPUTER ON YOUR BINDING FOR?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!? SHEESH!
