Boulder Mags - Drinks before Soul Purpose

Yo Boulder mags and maggettes,

Lets all rally for some drinks/food before the show. I will now show my bar jongedness and suggest places.

Mountain Sun has great beer and good food but shittyservice.
There is the new Peoples Republic brewery. No info
Rio for horrible mexican food but serious margs

Lets get some suggestions.

Doors open at 7:30 so we could meet around 6ish??

Boulder is Smoke Free!The scumdowner is pretty greek these days,but still has a seperate smoking room.The doors open at 7:30;I don't know if a Wednesday night showing will have the draw of the Saturday night MSP show,but if it does,there will be a line forming at 7pm.

I was thinking of having a pre show gathering at my place,but don't know if folks could get there early enough to make it worth while.Lets see what pans out in the next couple of days.

I am flexible. Just have a meeting until about 5. Then I can hit some beers.

Lets see if some consensus forms. Anyplace with good beer on tap works for me.

Yeah, come to think of it, I think they were 5 bucks when I was there last.

FYI- It was smoke free when I was there too. They just used to make an announcement every 1/2 hour, stating that it was illegal to smoke in bars in Boulder. Then, everybody would toast and light up. A bastion of rebelion in an otherwise healthy land. It was a thing of beauty.What is up with this pansy smoking room bs? They must have gotten busted bad.
Since I worked at BJs Bar and Grill, it was an easy commute after work. Of course, a couple Tatonka Stouts before going over there made the PBR flow smoother. Ah, the good old days- have fun at the show. Where is it? Boulder Theatre?

Alright, I will suggest a place.

Lets say Mountain Sun (yeah, they got good beer) between 5:45 and 6.

I will be there wearing a NorCal beenie, easy to spot.

I just got a ticket for the show at Christy's,Sage & Johnny were there.S & J seem to want to go to the Southern Sun for some reason.It's right next to my house,so I might have a few there before heading down.
