What the Bleep Do We Know?

Saw this flick on Friday night with the husband and we took our 10 yr old son too. It was pretty good...but the story line was a tad corny. The real-life interviews w/ the scientists were pretty cool though. The cinematography and effects were splendid!

I didn't realize it was an R rated flick, and just told my son if there were any major sex parts he could close his eyes or something (at this stage he's going to do that w/out me saying so to prevent himself from dying of embarrassment...lol!).

Overall, it wasn't that bad for an R-rating and I'm glad I took him to see it. Sometimes you gotta just risk it a little to expand their horizons. It was great to hear him talking about "what is reality anyway?" "can we actually be in two places at one time?" and "how interesting the sub-atomic world is" (he ended up changing the subject of his book report from Napoleon to Einstein b/c the movie inspired him so much).

Saw it last night. Most of the thoughts brought up weren't very new idea's, but I liked the quantam physics models and scientific models that back up a lot of spiritual models that Eastern religion has known for 3000 years. The blessed water expirement was really cool. It's nice to see a movie that provokes thought, not drowns it out with loud bangs, fancy explosions and regurgitated plot lines.
