What should I do?

I sent out a check for my mountain bike and they got it on the 29th. I waited around for 3-4 days and e-mailed the guy if he had shipped the bike. 2 to 3 days went by and I still had no response. I called the shop during the day and just got a answering machine. The nest day I get a call from his son saying that his Dad got seriously burned in a campfire accident and he was trying to get everything straighted out for his Dad. He said he was going to ship by bike last Friday, still no bike in site. I sent him an e-mail saying it was no biggie if he didn't send the bike out right away. I'm thinking he still didn't send it. I don't want to be an asshole and demand they send it right away but I do want my bike.

Where's the shop? Almost sounds like the guy is borrowing your money for a while. If it's close to one of us maybe someone has time to help you out and pick it up.
