DC mags: beers before Re:Session showing?

Re:Session is playing at the Arlington Draft House theater on November 12. Anyone want to do some beer-styled pre-gaming? I am not located convenient to the blue and orange line, but I would be willing to offer up my apartment for a get-together. Some snacks and beers at non-bar prices would be nice.

If someone can offer up a more conveniently located suggestion, I'm all for it.

Is that a Lindy Productions gig? I'll be there if yes... He's a buddy of mine from College.

Is Your place near the draft house? I wont be off work until 6ish but I'm down for the pre-game.

No, I'm in DC and was planning on taking the train over to Arlington. I'm between the convention center and shaw stops on the metro.

Worst case we could meet up at LA bar which is just a few blocks down the street from the draft house and they're not to expensive.

I am fine with L.A. bar before the show.

It probably doesn't make sense for many folks to schlep into the city in order to schwill at my house and then schlep back out to Arlington.

Cool! Are we trying to do the late show or early? I might go ahead and order my ticket online.

Late probably works better than early for me. Ms. Shred and I have jobs that will prevent us from getting our swerve on early. Tipp, iceman, various outher DCites, we gonna get you folks out for this one?

Argh... why do these things always have to be on when I'm out of town?

Anyone know if there are any other upcoming ski film showings in DC?

Seconded. Hopefully there will be others.
Man, skiing is the easy part.

So, I have my tickets for the 9:30 show. I'm perfectly content to park myself at the LA Bar for some warm-up drinks at 7:30ish? Ms. Shred and I will be driving the ubiquitous green Suby wagon full of biking shit with DC plates and a pair of Thule bike trays on the roof. We'll probably sport ridiculous knit hats for visibility at the bar if anyone wants to meet for a drink.

I'll try to make it to the bar by 7:30-8, but I might only make it to the theater.

If I can make it, look for a really tall guy with glasses and the ubiquitous tan Solitude hat.

The theater is also a bar, which is nice.
