Those are rebadged Nordicas, just like the "Vist" bindings.
It really makes ya long for the good old days when companies actually designed, made and sold things huh? Now these "ski companies" seem to be the constructions of marketing executives looking to "broaden the customer base" or "get greater market penetration". The product - where it comes from, who makes it, and how it's made - are at the bottom of the priority list. Fucking Assholes.
Not sure what a small ski company would want to get into the binding business, its not like they are adding anything knew to the game. LAME.

Um. I think that they have put a little lever in the binding to defeat the release. I'm not sure that's a good thing or not, but it is something different?
They are working directly with the Vist engineers (company started when people left nordica). They are being released in a very limited quantity this season. And for people asking why make your own bindings especially when you're so small? Well the bindings are already being made by another company that has some very good R&D put into it and now partnering with them allows 4FRNT to have toe and heel pieces customized for 4FRNT skis. I think it's a great idea but hey, I'm a little biased.
Whoops, well I was kind of hammered last night. I stand by my general sentiments but this didn't really call for that rant. Sorry 'bout that.
Well, keep us in the peanut gallery posted of your progress. Break some new ground and sell a 14 DIN binding for $150 retail.Originally Posted by skier0178

Sounds like a press release from the Mustang Ranch.Originally Posted by gramps
But, really, private label skis and bindings are nothing new. Ever see the 'Made in Germany' stamp on the side of old K2s? AK skis makes the Masuro line. There are others. It's a 'pride in branding' thing.
It's for the less-analytical types.
