it's still gonna take a while before this pattern locks (mid-late October) but once into November look for the trough to lock in the east as a pretty strong rigde locks in out west. Sorry Sierra.

And not a moment too soon. Time to break out the corduroys and longsleeves for school. Leaves are beginning to change here in Northwest NJ and it seems like the jonesing is back and stronger than ever. Only 10 more weeks of class before my trip to Utah! Every Sunday morning I cross out the previous week in my planner and it makes it seem like I'm 7 days closer to that light, fluffy Utah pow in only 30 seconds. As for the Northeast winter, I feel like it's gonna be a good one. All we have to pray for is no rain and consistently temps, then we'll be golden.

    Yeah like that'll EVER happen
    • Excessive, obsessive gear questioning 10 yards, loss of down
    • Not using techtak 5 yards
    • Excessive spraying 10 yards loss of down

Hey, I can dream. Without hopes and dreams of the coming day, week, month, season being better than the one before, nobody would even bother skiing in the northeast; it would simply be too depressing. Keep hope alive.
