Possible Hike of Alpental tomorrow...need info?

Thinking about a route up lower and upper International tomorrow.
Anyone know about this? Done this before?

No advice, but I'll tell you this:

Those loose bushy hills seem alot steeper going up them in summer than down them in winter.

    +1 for "loose bushy?"

Yes, going down on loose bushy might be sketchy

It's a brutal, steep bushwack up there this time of year.

There are far better places to hike in that valley. Unless you intend to make a sacrifice to Ullr for us all, in which case, please go for it

That's a pretty tough bushwhack route to the top without snow. You'll be roping up and climbing in upper 'Nash. It's a tough enough slog in the springtime snowmelt and the brush has had all summer to grow.

If you want to try and hit the top, Id suggest the Debbies Gold route and then up the Edelweiss bowl.

Check this site, he's got a good summertime picture of the whole area including the BC. http://www.alpental.com

If you want an easier route and be able to take in a view of the Alp from across the valley take the Snow Lake trail from the main lot and take the offshoot left to Source Lake bowl for a shortie, continue up the main route and over the ridge and drop into Snow lake for a nice day hike.
    Or, there's always the PCT.
Good runs when you get them.

much much easier to go up by chair 2 and take the cat road up, than go straight up international Upper I is a cliff, I've done both in the summer...
