    I may not vote

I don't know if the fact that the Kerry's are going on this show cancels it out, almost like it never happened. I have thrown up twice today.

Dr. Phil needs to fall on some sharp glass.

"If you're talking about undecided voters," says Grunwald, who orchestrated Clinton's talk-show appearances in the 1992 campaign, " . . . the people who watch the evening news. . . know who they are voting for. The people who watch Dr. Phil are far more likely not to have made up their mind. And it's hard to find undecided voters. . . . so this is not so much about what you're going to say. It's about going where the voters are."

"The truth is," Grunwald says, "if they could get by with appearing on 'Wheel of Fortune,' they would, because that's where the voters are."

    Sad, but savvy.

I would definitely watch Bush on Wheel of Fortune. I can see it now.

President Bush - I'll spin, Pat.
    (he spins the wheel)
    Pat S. - $500
President Bush - I'd like the letter 'A'.
Pat S. - Thats a vowel Mr. President.
President Bush - Damn liberal Alphabet. I'll take the letter Q.
Pat S. - One 'Q'. That's all the letters Mr. President.
President Bush - I'll solve the puzzle, Pat. War in Iran.
Pat S. - Sorry Mr. President but that's wrong.
President Bush - Just wait until after the election.
(Dick Cheney whistles using his fingers then claps and gives a slight nod and wink toward President Bush)

I didn't vote 4 years ago - I was registered in Wyoming and found myself hung over in Aspen on votin-day. I have no fucking clue what the hell I was doing there in November, but I drove home with a truckload of skis for the consignment ski shop I worked in at the time.

I'm not LDS and I have only lived here for 3 years. I was a conservative long (relative to my 22 years) before I got to Utah.

    the
firefox browser has lots of available extensions that people have written. the extensions are little programs that integrate with the browser to provide functionality. There is one that sits in the status bar and lets me know when i get mail in my gmail account, one that controls my media player so i can see what song is playing and control the player from the status bar of the browser, one that mimics the google toolbar for windows, all sorts of cool little functions. If you are a web developer, the venkman javascript debugger and the web developer toolbar will make your life SO much easier.

One extension integrates with the butmenot website. Bugmenot holds a database of username and passwords submitted by users for websites like the washington post, new york times, and others that require mandatory registration. That way if you see a link like the one above to the washington post and want to read the story, but dont want to be bothered with compulsory registration you can surf on over to butmenot, enter the website and they will usually have a working username and password for it.
But the bugmenot extension adds this functionality to the firefox browser. Compulsory registration required? just right click the username box, select bugmenot from the context menu, and it automagically fills the username and password in and submits the form. No spam email, no time wasted.

    That better?
