Anyone know about "Panabode" manufactured or engineered log homes?
Specifically - thinking of buying 20 year old panabode house. so problems, efficiency, maintenance, etc.
Appreciate any help you can give!
I've been thinking long and hard about this one and would have to conclude that I know virtually nothing about Panabode homes.
Have you tried your local Chamber of Commerce?
As an aside to Roo's comments, I would like to add that I've never heard of Panabode homes, nor have I seen one as far as I know.

We use them at work. We have them as staff housing and we use the same construction style for outhouses. Durability seems great. Basic log on log construction but they are cedar beams (squared instead of round). I will check for more info from the boss tomorrow but as far as I know they last. We have 3 or 4 15-20 year olld structures and our crappers should last twenty easy.
Move along nothing to see here.
Roo, thanks for bumping my thread from last September. I'm amazed your rock and roll life style allows you enough time to be so thorough
Weibo - one of the properties we were looking at near Crystal was a Panabode. It had far too many other issues though. We eventually ended up buying a different place.
