Talking So I Just Submitted My First Piece to "Aspect Journal"

We had to write a "Short" for my English 2 Honors class over the weekend, and I chose to write about something ski related. Since a short is supposed to be non fiction (which this was), and since after having several impartial people tell me it was an exceptional piece of writing; I decided to submit to Aspect Journal as a long piece. Being about 1100 words in length, it chronicles one run at Blackcomb and how much that run meant to me in terms of the season and my life. Hopefully it will be chosen to appear on their website, if not, thats fine too.

For the sake of wanting to avoid plaguerism, I chose not to post the piece directly on here, but if anyone would like to read it, PM me and it can be arranged. Wish me luck!

Ben, nice thought, but it's really, really hard to plagarize yourself...

I'd like to thank the teenagers on this board for recently posting every single aspect of their young existences, no matter how trivial or boring. I'm glad this can be a sounding board for them when no one in the real world gives a fuck.

I eagerly await news of their latest mistep, dubious achievement, bowel movement or acne eruption.

(Our toleration for drivel is no doubt linked to the recent fascination with reality TV. Better to watch the train wreck that is other people's lives than to have one ourselves.)

I realized the fault in my post as soon as I read yours. And Punani, that some funny stuff, scrolling down I was hoping and praying it wasn't a a NSFW pic you had posted. Oh well, hope the thing gets published on Aspect. Wish me luck.
