    NYC maggots--good BBQ, no joke

I can hardly believe it myself, but real barbeque has finally arrived in NYC. It's very, very good--compares with some of the best I've had in TN/AR. Daisy May's on 46th and 11th, I've been going there (often several times a week) for over a month now, meant to post this awhile ago. The pulled pork is the best meal they have, I think, and the baked beans are literally the best I've ever had, anywhere. A friend of mine from AR, who's familiar with the best Memphis BBQ, agrees with me. The ribs are good but sometimes too fatty.

Focused pregame? I know it's not exactly near TriBeCa, but there is this thing they have in NY called a subway, which is real easy to use.

What is this way of sub that you speak of? Can my truck drive in there? Do they allow shotgun racks? I heard groundhogs derail those things.

That would be a good idea, but it's literally take-out only, not a single seat. Of course, as with the rest of the city, there are a lot of other places around there too (actually, the new Penthouse club is behind it), so I wouldn't rule it out if you really want to hit the show with BBQ sauce on your hands.

I am thinking about hitting the Corner Bistro for pre-game if anyone is interested.
    You, sir, are a disgrace!

    Not a bad idea.
What about Lombardi's on Spring Street? (Just throwing it out there, CB would be great).

As long as it's NOT Bubby's.

Are you guys talking pregame for Matchstick on Wed? If so I'd like to get in. I just started work and could use a little encouragement from like-minded folk. New BBQ is 3 blocks from my office...I should be pushing a deuce and a quarter by T-giving.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

11-8 on weekdays w/ no sit-down really keeps us "bridge and tunnel" folk away.

My mouth was watering thinking about trying to get there on Sunday before going to see the Avalanche destroy the Rangers!

You might have a point, but I seriously have eaten a lot of red meat and pork my entire life and still have low cholesterol for some reason. Hope it continues, because I don't get along well with salad.
