WTB: Lifter plates for older Salomon 997 Driver bindings

Looking for lifter plates for the older style Salomon 997 Driver bindings with around 9mm to 13mm of lift.

Hasn't the salomon hole pattern been the same from time immemorial? I used my 9-12 poweraxe plate/lifter thingy with 977 toe and heelpeices. Shouldn't you be able to go out an pick up any lift you want?
    • Excessive, obsessive gear questioning 10 yards, loss of down
    • Not using techtak 5 yards
    • Excessive spraying 10 yards loss of down

I guess if that's the case, then I can go out and pick up a new lifter. But, I talked with the guys at one of the local shops and they told me I couldn't use the lifter plate that came with the 900S bindings(series before the 912/914) with the 997 toe and heel pieces. They didn't tell me that the 912/914 poweraxe plate would work. I'll search the tech talk forum. Thanks.

He needs the flat style risers that mount to the ski directly, not the new Axe+ style that have the mounting screws pass directly through.

The thickest of the old school "flat" risers are 10mm. Good luck finding them, your best bet is a racer ski swap or something like that. The other option is to find a shop that deals with Salomon race product; you can find flat shims @ 1, 3 or 5 mm and longer screws that can give you some lift.

Poweraxe plates also would work, as mentioned, since they mount flat with the conventional Salomon hole pattern. Note that these plates will not have provision for the fifth (middle) heel screw.

That isn't exactly what I had in mind, but that would certainly work. That looks like an old style poweraxe plate. What bindings are those, 977 or 997? Any interest in selling those plates?

    That's the DR9 plate. Bindings are DR9 EXP I believe (DIN 4-12).

    ^yep, right on the nose.

pretty much the exact same as the current 912s except they have the 'driver suspension' plate on them. i'm not sure if these would work or not with your bindings, but if they would i'm perfectly willing to let them go (they're sitting on a 20 year old pair of 206 K2 810 Comps)

    DR9 plate will work, provided:

    1. You get all the original screws (some of them are difficult to find otherwise).

    2. You remove the base Driver plate (the green sim under the toe) from your 997s.

Let me know if you need to know if you need a procedure for removing the Driver plate.

i'm just going to take it to a shop to get it unmounted - i don't have any power screwdrivers here (the craftsman one excluded) that can get the screws out, and i'm afraid that i'll strip the screw head.
