My Dad just bought a snow-cat....

Actually he bought about twenty of them. The Duker family is now the owner of one of the biggest Snow-cat dealerships in the western U.S.

Now don't you go driving one of those things while drunk; take the horse instead.

So if you bought a dealer in Logan did you get an LMC/DMC/Thiokol dealership? Yes I know I'm dating myself.

As for you l7, yes you are a bit dated. THey used to be an LMC dealer but LMC went bankrupt about 5 years ago. We now sell pistenbully/ kassboher cats.

Duker, just make sure it says in any rental contracts that no one with the last name Miller is allowed to drive.

Is your dad interested in adopting a 40 year old son? I'm positive I'd make a great snowcat tester. Me and 12 of my best pals.

They went broke? ...... again? So Pisten Bully is based in Logan or bought stuff from bankruptcy or is it just coincidence that the operation your father bought is in Logan? Just curious?

Lmc is dead.... My dad still sells some of their used cats and parts. Pisten bully is based in Ulm, Gemany and has 4 dealers in the US. pure coincidence that he picked up pistenbully in logan.

Pistenbullys are the best cats made, you should do well. I have had a lot of experience driving cats and i will stand by the bullys.

As I understand it, there are only two cat companies left: Pistenbully and Bombardier.

What's really strange is seeing the old Thiokol (now known as ATK) cat at Alta. Hmmmm...snowcats and ICBM rocket motors. Now THAT'S what I call diversification!

yep, PB and Bombardier Control the entire US market. I think there is another company in europe. But its a market with not much competetion. Oh and those thiokol cats are cool. Weve had a few that we restored, they are like Volkswagens, they dont die.
