When's the last time you watched "The Trip"??

I hadn't watched it for a couple years, and what a mistake that was. I'm watching it while ripping it to DVD and totally forgot how friggin' sick, sick, sick this movie is.
Amazing lines, great stories, hair-raising avies, some of the best editing ever, even some jazz licks.
50 minutes and it's all good!
Go get it and watch it. Then burn it to DVD so you get it out more often.
Slip and crew... you guys ROCK!

p.s. Our hosts, TGR, really rock too!

Thanks jibij. It's funny how quickly things change, in 2001 we only did VHS, now we only do DVD.

How about a rerelease of The Trip on DVD? Just doesn't look/sound as good burning a DVD from the VHS.

Last time I watched it was about 1.5 years ago, when my roomates last had a VHS player. But good point. I was thinking about it the other day, the company is now theory 3 right?

That flick is redunculious. Saw it before and after I was in MT, its fun being able to say, "hey, I gaped my way down that!"

Freaky coincidence. I plugged my VCR in especially to watch The Trip last night and then come in to see this thread. It's still a cracking movie. The avy sequence surely has to be the most terrifying yet caught on film.

As an aside, I've been after that Sans Bon Sens track ever since I first saw the film but have got nowhere. Even emailed Belliveau in French but no dice. I guess he might be a little busy to bother with promo.

    Thanks, Reverend.

It will never be released on DVD, sorry. I think.
