    Powder Subscription

So I subscribed shortly after seeing the much improved September issue. Assuming that it would actually take 6-8 weeks (or more) to get the first issue I also bought the Oct issue when it came out. Yesterday I go to the mailbox and there is both September AND October. Are powder subscriptions seasonal? Is this normal that they send you back issues from the same season. I can understand getting October, but september too? Also the little sticker on the front has my sub expiring in february. Are there only 6 issues a year? It thought that there were seven...

We've been at six for the past couple of years. No one wants to advertise after Christmas, even though that's when all the readers want more magazines.

Hey KD, I was curious about something. Why is it that the Volkl/Technica/Marker ads with Charlotte Moats, Ingrid Backstrom and Jenn Berg ONLY show up in Freeskier, and not Powder? I would think you guys would love to have an ad that has Ingrid in it, over say Honda Element ads.

    What gives???

My powder still hasn't come when i subscribed a month ago. Everyday i come home and check the mail box expecting to see oct and sept sitting there, but no it still hasn't arrived. I'm starting to get pissed.

Just got September in the mail at work on Friday, of course I already have September AND October at home from newsstand purchases. It'll be interesting to see if our October subscription arrives before November hits the stands.

4-6 weeks minimum. they don't step it up just because it is nearing winter. i got my first subscription mag about 2 1/2 months after i ordered (not recently).
