I have a question. About the ski trainer that attaches to the ankles.

do you have pictures - very curious

So its two pieces of webbing that you Velcro around the boot cuff, then attach the leash.

We used it with our 3 yo last winter and saw MUCH faster progress than our son who used the lucky bum ski harness.

We never had an issue upending her. Great parts were:
She had to stand on her own and didn't lean back into the harness.
We could initiate the turn for her so when we said turn there was an action she could feel that accompanied the verbal direction.

We also used the lucky bums harness, without leash, to help move her around the mtn, lifts etc.

Having used both this and the lucky bums harness we thought this method was far superior.

Looking for a cheap harness for my 3.5 yr. old to ski.

I would only use it for this season and maybe the next.

I gave mine to Zesty Not Spice two years ago.

I have a ski school type vest/harness thing with a grab handle you can have for free. You could take the strap and handle out of the vest and add shoulder straps if you wanted.

Got twins so unfortunately need a 2nd set of everything for a 2 to 3 yr old. Tiniest boots, skis, harness, clothes etc. I'm interested in anything/ everything. I got hooked up here for a pair of starter skis for Mini Comish and he is pass them onto his sisters now.

Also on the hunt for some 4T pants and jacket (although maybe a 5T on the jacket) for Mini Comish.

    Cheers!

^ Thanks mang, much appreciated! Looks like we mostly need 3T or bigger stuff clothing wise and then a pair of the smallest skis for when we get the 2yr old twins on skis this winter. They were fighting over the 1 pair of mini mini boots we had for Mini Comish which is a good sign. They are out rocking their helmets and goggles (the 2 things we are set on) in mammoth over the weekend.

Walking into Lakanuki for Apres with 2yr old twins in helmets and googles w/ balloon attached to their helmets is a surefire way to make people laugh and point.

Looking to outfit my 2.5 year old with some skis and boots. Anybody have any tiny stuff lying around? We've been using the Lucky Bum skis, which are great for walking around/playing in the snow, but don't seem to cut it for actually learning how to ski.

Looking for kid tested AT binders

Also cross-posting in "Gear Swap" root

I know I'm not the first to be looking for these...

I'm trying to build a couple rigs for the boys.

Thinking about the Silvretta Pure Kidz AT bindings. They'll use their alpine boots until their feet are big enough for AT boots.

Anyone out there got some of these laying around (maybe your kids out grew them)?

Got other options? I'm open to suggestions. I don't want to "build/modify" anything at this point but if you have any time-tested gear you don't need any longer, I'm looking to buy it.
