Lindahl, around these parts the ski shops have affordable seasonal rentals or a purchase/buyback program. If you only have 1 kid (so no hand-me down benefits) I think that is the easy way to go for the early years, rather than hunting replacement gear for a little all the fucking time. If you have more than one kid (or plan to) then it is a different story, then it is worth it to do the regular search.

Once your kid is becoming a decent skier, then it is worth it to seek out 3-4 buckle boots and better kid skis. And seek out the next size up so you have it ready.

Plan is to have 4, so I think it'll work out better for us to just own the gear. I assume you just mean boots/skis/bindings? Or are we talking more than just that for seasonal rentals?

Just hard goods, I don't know of clothing seasonal rentals. And yeah, if you plan 4 (!!!), definitely buy. Heck, it may make sense to just buy new in that event! Just try to get gender neutral color schemes, lol.

Need space in the house. Starting the fall purge a lil early. First up, some used 110 cm Head i.race skis. Make an offer - PMs work best as I may miss something here in the thread.

Let me take a look at how tall my kid is in the morning and I'll PM you. 138 GS ski with clamps is a likely winner.

I'm on the hunt for some Volkl Gotoma or Mantra 148cm skis, any vintage.
I've got 138's, and two sets of Gotoma 158s but no 148. Happy to trade a set of my 158s for 148s.

Comencal 24 inch mountain bike for sale, $ 700. Front air fork, really adjustable for kids, as opposed to must other forks.

My son, then my daughter rode it, not a lot at all, as they weren't thrilled with riding uphill.

    Everything works perfectly.

I'm in Nevada City, but in Tahoe often.
