Ummn, they're 9.2's, and haven't had a change to ski 'em yet. Still the seem to have a nice round flex and torsionally rigid enough for me (as you can see, most of the stix have tele's on 'em, or will get tele's). So I'm pretty excided about 'em, will repost back when I have actually gotten 'em on snow...

I was given it by a friend who got it from specialized . Apparently, its a pre production run of the 2005/2006 deviant carbon helmet. Its the lightest FF Helmet i have ever tried and also the largest ( i have a v.large head ). Very comfy and very well ventilated.

I can find them via google in a few shops in europe but i can't see any in the US yet.

These guys in europe have them.

    ^ Really nice helmet!

And you don't get cold? I mean, do you wear something under that when you're skiing or is it usually warm enough as it is?

I get really hot when skiing.

At -15 i wear a pair of Mountain hardware mountain biking gloves at 3000+ metres when windy so i'd say its warm enough for me. Other people may disagree.

There is an inner membrane that stops most of the wind whistling through too much.

I have a Gore-tex balaclava that i wear with it when its snowing and coming in sideways.

Its a good helmet for one more reason. The under chin strap is the same type they use on proper motorbike helmets so no chance of it releasing during a fall.

Sadly, I own one too. I have a 185 Duret Free. Mine currently has no bindings on it though; I am using it as a shelf in the garage. I will take a new quiver pic today, though, and add it in there....

AFAIK, the Deviant is available now. It is about $350, and I can get you one if you like.

Here's my quiver with the mono, as promised....

185cm Duret Free monoski (sans bindings - they moved over to the PR's)
210cm K2 TNC Comps w/ ESS VAR bindings
193cm Line Dragons (custom painted!) w/ Rossi KX bindings
    185cm PR's w/ 997 Equipe
    195cm Lawnchairs w/ Naxo NX01's
    Lange Comp 120 FR's
    Giro SST skid lid

While I was shooting the photo, I shot my new bike license plate. I got this kit at Kmart where you can customize your own. It was like 3 bucks and they had a few left. Anyone want one, I can got get 'em and send it to you....

Yeah, I actually like it. I have a friend that rides one exclusively, so I ride mine most of the times I meet up with him. We usually go to Mary Jane and ride them in the bumps. I pulled my 997's off of it to go on the PR's. I've been on the hunt for some used 997's (i.e. cheap or free) becasue the plates on the Duret are pre-drilled for the 997 hole patern. I also ride the mono occasionally at my local hill when I start getting bored with it. It really flips out the Nebraskans.

Edit: looks like yours is a White Knuckle, right? Did you get it from Scott?

Does it make the quiver more impressive if you photograph the top of both skis in a pair? Cuz I was just going to take a picture with the skis base to base and I dont want my quiver to look small. Also since people are putting bike stuff and unmounted bindings, is that appropriate to enhance the quiver? How bout my lawnmower, motorcycle and my quiver of horseshoes? Can anyone direct me to an online pharmacy so I can get some drugs to enhance the quiver? Just curious....

I guess I'll stoop to gracing this thread with my beautiful quiver.

Pic 1 is the current/nascent quiver (flame bigs are gonna be my first in 15 years alpine rig) Pic 2 is the boneyard.
