Yup, I was VERY excited to find those. Thanks to a maggot from the TGR boards (who got them from a pro in Colorado).

Britney's CMH Explosives were an awesome find too....thanks to the one and only Mtnlion. I did not see another pair of that ski all year.

I was skiing Gotama's last year and pawned them to get Sanouks this year (both for my powder ski--Explosives other days). What is your side by side comparison?

I am saying the Sanouk is far superior for a powder ski. With the softness AND sidecut of the Gotama I didnt really like for going fast (and straightruns). I think losing some sidecut on the Sanouks makes them better....for a specific powder ski. Might still pick Gotama if I needed to ski them everyday.....but like Explosives on hardpack more than either.

Oh and Huck, this year's Gotama skis a little differently. It's slightly stiffer and charges a little better than last year. Last year's ski got pushed around too much when things got heavy or cut up.

I finally got to ski the Sanouk this year too. It felt like a Spatula up front but with a tail that really wanted to engage. I only skied them in some heavy snow with a slight crust, so it wasn't the best testing conditions.

Sorry but they do as do the Madens. I got 'em before I knew better. I'm supposed to be at DIN 9 but I have 'em at 11 and that works well. After too many preleases and learning about them, I put Looks on my Legend Pro and they are at 9 and great!

    Finally, this past year's quiver:

171 Black Diamond Crossbows with Freerides
    170 Jak BCs with Freerides

Funny how the 171 Xbows are 5-6 cm longer than the 170 Jaks (which are really like 165s)...wish I had the 180 Jak BCs

Want to add something a bit longer and more substantial for next season.

What can I say I'm still just a big kid at heart and puttin a I heart to get high sticker on your auto is just askin for trauma. The other cool thing is I see someone walkin away with my sticks there is no mistaken ski thing they're goin down.
As for the AT bindings Sharin the pow is highly overated. Heal well and get ya some.

Triplets=not too bad in my book. They carve better than any other twin tip I've ever skied, except for the Armada AR5. They hook up and rail like you would expect an atomic to. I don't know if this is ideal for park riding, but for someone who dabbles in park this would be a good ski. It's light and the bindings aren't that heavy either. This version, the Urban Triplet, has the reinforced edge underfoot, basically another strip of edge inlaid into the p-tex. Good idea I'm sure for rails, but on snow it feels a bit catchy, because of all the parts of a ski the edge is the slowest in the snow and now it's double wide. But I was skiing in too sloppy by noon conditions when I tried them. And hey, you get three. Get three people together, buy two sets, make three pairs, split the difference. Or use all three depending on what mood you are in that day.

Those unmounted axioms look nice you are lucky to have the spare set. That ski rocks and nice quiver
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.
