HUGE difference between these skis. Go with sanouks if you want to ski powder in a fairly mellow fashion; they are very very soft. EHPs if you want to charge.

I know that the Sanouk is super soft, I just haven't decided which flex I want to go with. In an ideal world I would like to demo both but I highly doubt that will happen.

Do you still have your Sanouks? If I remember correctly, you like them quite a bit right?

I love them. As was said they are maybe not the most nimble when going slowly but as the speed builds they start really responding. I use it mostly at my local resorts, which have limited off-piste potential but wide, icy and steep groomed runs. It acts like a wide racing ski, all the ice grip and stability at speed that you need. It's good off-pist as well but since I got the Sanouks I haven't really used them on any big powder days. However the little I have tried them they did alright considering their narrowness. And as the conditions get worse they get better

Quite a swallowtail quiver. What are the ones that aren't Sanouks? I don't recognize the graphics.

That goes for trees and tight technical places too?

You can work the the Stockli SS down anything. If you stay on top of them, they do as they are told. And they hold an edge like a racing ski. But if trees and technical lines are your everyday thing, I would probably look elsewhere. Maybe the Head iM88? Even the Dynastar Legend Pro, which is suprisingly easy to turn.

If I ever get back up to VT, I'll be sure to PM you first. BTW, I'm gonna start rockin' the AK Rockets on the EC.

Well you do... You need a few pairs for tele, and then a few pairs for alpine plus naturally a few pairs with AT-binders...
