Kya, you dont have a problem with how the freerides ski? What kind of touring binding are you running?

I had this discussion while skinning on sunday, you feel so high off the ski with freerides, the boots(scarpa xt and tt) dont give much feeling in the toe because the box is so large, and they have a flat ramp angle...which eliminating the toe shim doesnt help solve really.

Do you feel this, or have you just gotten used to it?

I have never had problems with Freerides. Honestly, when I read about the heated discussions over how "sloppy" they feel I just chuckle to myself. I always adjust the forward pressure a little over, and the make sure the hight adjustment is a little tighter. I have skied on some gnarly terrain and never felt worried about the binding releasing, or breaking. I like how the Denali TT has a genrous amount of forward lean settings and find that offsets the the lack of ramp angle. I guess I never really felt those stated issues with Freerides or even really cared, or just adjusted so fast I din't know.
I am very satisfied with the Freeride setup and rarely ride those PR with alpine bindings.

However, I am only 5'5" and weigh 155 lbs, so that probably helps me out.

BSS- May I borrow the left 2/3rds of your quiver? I've heard the Pistols are a quiver of one so you'll be set.

Mounted them on the line, per the suggestion of my Armada contact. I guess I'm the guinea pig. If it ever snows.

Jong me all you want, they were pasted. There is no light reflecting off of them, and unless your left blower has a huge chunk missing from the top-left edge, magnetic lasso in photoshop made a small error, or perhaps your turned them a little to create the illusion of an upturned tip.

I've done a lot of photoshopping, you can't bullshit a bullshitter.

Thanks dude. Actually, Kenai (my wife) gets credit. She did all the ordering herself, a little help from Iskibc, and kept that a huge secret from me

Not bad for a Hawaiian girl.

Well in that case - I surely apologize for misleading you.

Perhaps you'll find this view a little more akin to your liking.

FFFs are my favorite skis ever. That is probably one of the best presents I've ever seen.
