Sorry I haven't. Since moving to Colorado the continental snowpack has deterred me from spending a lot of time into backcountry. I miss my days in Whistler where almost everything, every aspect was skiable.

Yeah they are the new reissues, Can't wait to put them through their paces this season. Sorry for the photo being horizontal, for the life of me I can't get the orientation right when I upload it to the site.

Thanks for the quiver compliment! I picked up the Meridians for a play/tree ski, which is why I went with the 181's. They definitely fill that role in the quiver nicely, and I was fortunate that I did not get a pair with the tune issues that were mentioned in Blister review. The full rocker definitely makes for a fun smeary ski, but once you get them up on edge they can certainly rally on the groomers. They are a decently damp ski as well which helps on the "all mountain" front. After a full season of use I am definitely happy with my purchase.

    About me....

Late bloomer to the fag sticks after many years on the gay tray. Later middle aged with two geriatric knees. Six foe two twinny, focused on technique, maintaining proper ankle angulation on piste and butt wigglen off piste. Never ski the backseat ever! Rarely jump things.

    About my quiver...

    Attention soldierz!

    L->R

167 Voile Revelator Solid with some old Burton somethingortheothers in the Terje stance (duck feet are for kids!) Very limited edition I was told only four made? Got it BNIP off of ksl classifieds a couple years back. Homage to my formerknuckledragger self. Gets dusted off couple times a season when the satch is doubleoverhead. Proper taper lets you just stand on it and get barreled. And it is freaky light and fast. They should make more solid boards it'd be a thing! Every time I ride it I say I should snowboard more then I realize snowboarding sucks [emoji83] [emoji83] [emoji83]

184 Voile Drifter with FT12. These were actually my first ski, I converted to tour more effeciently from the splitter. Stupid wide pow sticks with lots of miles (maybe 5 seasons 30+days per) not always in their intended conditions. Blem sale sticks from the factory, neither Dave nor I could find the blem. A fairly demanding ski in anything but perfection. But man oh man when its a footermore these babies go! Just got a more universal soldier for tour duty so these will only come out when Utah delivers. Guranteed if I bust them out someone will force me to break trail [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji472]

186 Dynafit Husacarans with Radical. Got them a month or so ago from AlpineMcRipper. Great transaction and killer deal, he went above and beyond when tracking info got hosed. Have had .5 bc days and 2 inbounds days on them. They giddyup on groomers and run from 4 lemon tibfibpow. The kracken pissed off ullr and the snowpack is shitty this season, railing groomers on the black skis of death always seems like a better time.

188 Rossignol rc112. Drilled for turntables @ my bsl so they will wear some rossi races as soon as I can get them to SFBs house. Just arrived today from dFiddler for a steal in what might have been my easiest transaction ever from tgr! Good shit! Have no days on this pair but I borrowed oldschool1080's for a couple of days at the bird and I lurv them lots! These should mow down any large animals or small humans on the hill with ease. Fuck they look longer than a 188!

191 Voikl Gotomas with Solly 997 on sollyfit plates. They are a free swiss cheese expirement from skidog (thanks man!) with 3 mounts hence the bringwork with the plates. These are the black skis of death. Fast, damp and they force me to make poor decisions. Tha fucken things throw roostertails at any beater behind me!

191 On3P Billygoat "AK Fishstick". A limited edition circa 2011 or 13 (i think?) that is notably stiffer than other bgs I have ridden. Mounted with the Atomic branded guardians. This was probably the hardest transaction Ive ever had on TGR!!! These used to be oldschool1080s skis until I rode them and knew they were the ones. I used every power of persuasion I had to get these skis... plyed him with the devil tram club specials, used blackmail of dirty pics and even invoked the name of his maternal gramma to get these off his feet. He lets me know that of all the many regrets in his young and reckless life that the regret of selling my these skis will haunt him to his final day. This the one ski to rule them all! They charge, they fly, they slarve, they rail, they float in 3 inches of fresh, land like fairy farts when I decide to jump something. Plus those topsheets! Yeah these are the ones for me. They have changed my life for the better and I do not know where I would be without them...

194 Dynastar OG Race Room Legend Pros. Hand numbered. Drilled for turntables @ my bsl. Full auvere before it was cool. They mock me from the corner of the garage. Maybe this is the year my testicles drop I become a man and saddle these up? Got them in a mag deal from boissal and they are so fucking minty. He is a good dude for hooking me up and I have sworn a blood oath to pass them on to another mag in the manner they were passed to me. If I don't mount them this season I will do just that...

    The Quiver Pic Rerun Thread

Finally have the quiver done for the year. BGs, BCs, Super 7s, and Powderboards aren't technically mine - but my Dad, brother, and I all are about the same size and wear the same size boots, plus I buy, mount, and maintain the fleet so I can borrow if I want [emoji6] Not pictures are a pair of GS and a pair of slalom skis.

Favorite topsheet is a split between the birds eye maple veneer w/ vice graphic on the protests, and the carbon fiber vinyl super 7s. This picture doesn't do the Rossi's any justice.

    From right to left:

    -180cm Blizzard Brahma FKS 180
    -176cm ON3P Jeronimo FKS 180
    -180cm Praxis Enduro/Carbon Backcountry STH2 16
-180cm Rossignol Super 7 w/ Custom CF Vinyl Topsheet Attack 13
    -182cm Praxis Quixote Heavy/Carbon/Veneer FKS 180
-185cm Praxis Powderboards Attack 13 Demo
    -186cm ON3P Veneer Jeffrey 114 Attack 18
    -186cm ON3P Billygoat STH2 16
    -192cm Praxis Protest Enduro/Veneer Attack 16

If you can't tell, I think Praxis and ON3P make some damn good sticks

Foon is a small boutique ski maker out of Pemberton BC. I don't know too much about them other than that their creator is a vet of the ski industry both on and off the mountain. I see the skis fairly regularly at Whistler, and would love to try a pair.

    Quiver in State of Flux

    About Me:
5'10", 185 lbs. Former charger, becoming more of a finesse skier.

Current Quiver Sorted by Waist Width:
    - 176 Dynafit Baltoro 2.0 = Post-consolidation (i.e., Spring-Summer) touring ski.
Does double duty on icy groomers, at the resort. Weight and flex suit my style well. I rarely exceed its speed limit. Only thing I don't like is the dual radius sidecut, but this is only a minor annoyance on steep hardpack.

184 Dynastar Mythic Rider = For making long-radius GS turns, at speed.

I don't charge very hard anymore. So, I no longer need long, stiff, and damp cambered skis. The lighter Baltoro replace the Mythic Riders as my spring-summer touring ski. The more versatile Mantras replace the Mythic Riders as my resort ski. Therefore, these skis are up for sale.

177 Volkl Mantra = Patrol / work ski.

Versatile, durable, predictable, and damp, but not supple at slower speeds that I normally work at. I don't make much use of the high-speed damping at work, so I would like to trade this for a lighter, softer, more supple work ski.

186 Volkl BMT 109 = Variable conditions touring ski

Recently acquired. Intended to be used on tours where I expect to encounter a mix of hard and soft snow conditions (breakable crust, sastrugi, powder, ice, etc.).

186 Dynafit Huascaran = Soft snow touring ski

Intended to be used on longer tours with consistently soft snow. Light, playful, and good floatation in softer snow. Gets knocked around a bit on hard snow. More efficient on the up-track than my fully-rockered, fat skis.

182 DPS Lotus 138 = Deep powder & breakable crust ski

Recently acquired. Intended to be used on 18"+ powder days (with or without a breakable crust on top), where downhill performance is a higher priority than touring efficiency.

I'm guessing you can demo a pair from Foon any time you're in Pemberton/Whistler, or...

Foon Skis usually offers free demos at top of Whistler on the 2 weekends of the annual Spring Festival...along with free demos from many other ski brands. This year, it's likely April 7-8 and 14-15.

Hey Fuge - I will be glad to pay you a legit fair price for the Dynastar LPR's. Mine are pushing 400 days and I don't see another pair in minty shape ever reappearing. They would be forced to ski hundreds of tram laps. Taunt them with that and see what they say.

    Fugitive:

Surprised about your Voile Drifter comments.

Love mine and really dont think they're that hard work on less than deep.

One of my favourite skis ever.

Not blems though - wasn't that a camber issue? Maybe that's it?
