Modified G3 Onyx brakes which double as a heel pad. See http://www.lornecameron.com/2013/plu...inding-brakes/ . I wanted to put them on inserts this year so I could take them off for +1000m days to save a bit of weight, but test installations didn't go perfectly and I'd be totally screwed if I fucked them up, so I left them as-is. Brake deployment seems much better now with Vulcans - I'll update the blog post soon.

Tell me those belong to multiple people and aren't all yours?

And how bout a breakdown? That's too much visual to comprehend

    Time for some inserts.

Keep two pairs of bindings, sell the rest, use profits to buy more skis cause you're a little light on skis.

nice collection. can you do me a favor and do a little comparison for me?

i've got 1st generation Gotamas that i love to death but need to replace.
i'm skiing Shiros at the moment as well.
there is a pair of Katanas for sale at the local shop that i'm thinking of picking up. i've been reading a bit on them, but would love to hear what you think about them.

me: live in portland, ski at hood, heavy show fo' sho. worried the katanas might be too stiff.
    fine

2014 updates: Added back in Lhasas after missing them every day since selling my last pair. The Kastles feel like my old 5stars at half the swing weight and 179 Bros will always be a part of my quiver and have been since the originals debuted. Wish I had waited for the new pairs pressed in the Kusala flat camber/early rise mold, but that will happen when these need to be replaced.
Not the widest, most rockered, or broadest selection but feels dialed in this year for where I ski most these days as an old dude parent of two on the east coast. Have icy days, long tours, and deep stuff covered. And critique the bindings all you want, but for a light guy like me, I have probably 1000 days on 3 pairs of Freerides without a single issue yet and can't beat their simplicity. Have owned Dynafits and Dukes and have always come back to these.

Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues
