I haven't had these particular skis long enough to comment on durability, but I spent most of last season on Surface boards. Let's just say this - I'm moving back over to Rossi.
Most of the Surface boards I've had are kind of a chip-fest, with minimal effort in doing so. They do ski nice though, and I'm not a big rocker type guy - I like camber underfoot. They are just what the Dr ordered in that regard. Pretty cheap too - and I think I understand that better now.![]()

Yup. loose pivot pins, constant AFD adjusting, NO Flat tour mode, buddy broke AFD, way lighter with the 13 DIN on the Tyros, and most of all AT boot compatible...
I still think there are some bugs to be worked out on the Guardians that I thought they would address this season but didn't. And the AFD should be adjustable for AT boots not just WTR boots., Not to say there won't be with the Adrenalins as well, but first thoughts are the Tyrolia' are a better design. We'll see. I think it's going to be the goto in this class by the end of the year.
Updated East Quiver:

Overlap means a lot of skis for the same purpose. Example : Atomic Bentchetler , Opus and JJ in one quiver.
I see your overlap and I raise eleventybillion:

187 Legend Pro XXL
186 ON3P Viciks with Dynafits (will be moving these back to alpine in favor of something lighter)

It appears that I have a problem ...

Don't Taze me bro.
That is truly a sexy quiver, but Gawd those Wrenegades and XXLs are bonerlicious... I would call you out on the Salamons, but since I bought a pair of 190s Sir Francis Bacons for family cruising this year I do think that would be a little hypocritical...
Killer quiver...!
Yah, the R2s are no gnarvegas bro brah by TGR standards, but for small hucks, mini golf and generally dickin' around in the trees and the like on a storm day - they are pretty fun. Though I'm debating on moving them on down the line as the Wrens are surprisingly playful and easy to ski.
So I tell myself ...
Stoked I finally got pretty much my dream quiver together.
198 Katanas & STH 16 Steels
192 Bent Chetlers & STH 16 Steels
189 Kung Fujas & Jester Schizos
190 Watea 106s & PLum Guides
190 Explosivs & 997s
Those katanaa have got to slaughter..
