Nice quiver. Makes me feel good that someone else has as big a gear problem as I do. And you must have got the the same "who cares about overlap memo" that I did. (Me: 186 Rens, 187 Hojis, 184 Bibbys, 184 Deathwishes, 183 Blends)

Ever ski the DPS RP 112 and Rens in the same day? Must be quite a difference. I found the DPS 112RP great in untouched virgin pow, but too noodly in manked up, chunder and heavy crud at speed. Sold them after three weeks, kept eating it when going fast.

    Collecting skis is great fun!!

Sounds like you have a great quiver too!!!!

I have skied RENs and 112's same day. Very different that's for sure. I loved the 112's when I got them but I am moving more and more away from them each season.

    From left to R:
-brand new Praxis Protest mid/stiff 187cm w/ carbon layup will be mounted at dimple and for powdays and powtrips
-Praxis Concept 187cm mid/stiff is my everyday resort ripper
-Dynastar 6th sense 186cm w/ barons for winter skinning and dry resort days.
    -wife s snowboard...

I m really stoked of this quiver that will let me pick the good sticks for the conditions...
    No obvious overlap here...
Would just "need" à light tourer to have true euro quiver...

I have a lot of other skis but most don't have bindings on them. This is my current kit.

Left to right, top to bottom...

    Swix boot bag
ON3P Vicik Tour 176cm w/Voile Switchback X2 bindings and BD Glidelite Mix skins
SkiLogik Bomb Squad 188cm w/Voile Switchback X2 bindings and BD Nylon skins
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Scarpa T1 (3 buckle)
    Giro Nine helmut w/POC goggles
    BD Kingpin gloves
    Patagonia leather ski gloves
    Suunto sighting compass
    BD Spot headlamp
    First aid kit
    Repair/parts kit
BD Fixed Length Carbon ski poles (115cm)
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
AIARE field book and snow study kit
    Shugakuso snow saw
    BCA 300cm probe
    Voile avalanche shovel
    SAM splint (36")
BCA Stash OB pack (for sidecountry--always lives in my car)
    BCA B1 avalanche shovel
    G3 240cm probe
    Ortovox 3+ avalanche transceiver
    Osprey Switch 36 ski pack

I boiled my thermometer, and sure enough, this spot, which purported to be two thousand feet higher than the locality of the hotel, turned out to be nine thousand feet LOWER. Thus the fact was clearly demonstrated that, ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT, THE HIGHER A POINT SEEMS TO BE, THE LOWER IT ACTUALLY IS. Our ascent itself was a great achievement, but this contribution to science was an inconceivably greater matter.

Tried to keep it down to one pair. Which worked until last year :-)

181 Backlash for touring and resort. Best ski in the quiver for hard stuff, pretty good in pow for the width. Did plenty of resort, slackcountry hut-to-hut, slackcountry and travels to norway on these. Actually they do everything pretty well but buying skis is so much fun.

177 Dynafit Huascarans. Brand new. Intend to use them in most soft conditions in the alps and for the highly variable snow in Norway. Went small to keep it nimble and light. With Speeds even lighter than the Backlash Setup.

170 Voile Vectors. For mellower touring in the Alps, tours with big vert, touring in the smaller hills around. But they even do 3' of fresh if necessary. Very light, playful setup. Skis, bindings, leashes are 3700gr total.

    Boot quiver is ZZero4PX, ZZero4C, F1. I am 6'2 180lbs.

Spreading around some mid-august stoke. My skis (5 on the right) and my roommates skis from last winter. Just 10 of the 13 skis (and one board) we had in our house.

Scored a deal in the last week on 2 pairs of new LPR 105s (184 and 192) and and an older pair of LPs (186)...missing are the new Rossi S97s (186) that I bought prior to finding the LPs and my touring gear. The Rossi's will probably go up for sale soon. Overlap yes, but I love the feel of the Dynastar LP line so I'm stocking up while I can.

    Envious of gwats clamps!

I finally got these out on display. They're on a landing heading down to the basement. And my fiance let me put them out!
The bindings are set to my boots, and DIN is set @11. The brakes for the 'Toons wouldn't fit on the wall, so they're in the garage. And I still have room to put up a pair of Hucksters when I find some.

I'm not sure why the pic is rotated, it's not on my phone.
