They only come out on select occasions, like Long Board Day. Their previous owner used them in the Nagano DH, so I think they can handle anything I'll dish out.

Oh, right -- I've seen those pics before. Still steezy, though.

I see overlap! And why are your Mantras so much longer than the Goat and Katana's?

Depending on your style you might prefer either Goat or Katana for any kind of soft snow.

Good to hear. I just got those SC80s recently and haven't skied them. They feel like a nice flex for an all mountain ski.

Lots of changes from last year. For those interested in the rockered skis, the strap on the skis near the tip is roughly where the rocker starts (where the ski bases touch when strapped together).

    Me:

181 Salomon 2V GS (fun on icy groomer days)
180 Volkl Explosiv (haven't skied these yet -- they look short vs. the 190s)
    190 Volkl Explosiv
    196 PM Gear Lhasa Pow
    190 Volkl Sumo
192 Black Diamond Zealot (the replacement for my longstanding Explosiv fetish)
186 Volant Spatula (still alive and kicking for those early season dumps)
    192 DPS Lotus 138 r1 f3
    190 DPS Lotus 120 f2
    188 DPS Wailer 105 f2
192 Voile Drifter (not sure yet if I'm going to keep these)

    Mrs. C.:

    173 Volkl Explosiv
    173 Volkl Explosiv
    179 K2 Nancy (Seth Pistol)
    182 Salomon Czar
    175 Volkl Sumo
    182 Voile Drifter

Hey El Chup: I thought U rockered those Sumos?!

Is that all the rocker they have left in them? Where the strap is?

    Curious

The home rocker job didn't really last on the Sumos. There is a tiny bit of early rise, but it's maybe 2mm of added splay at the tips.

I may try it again with a heat gun, or may just leave them like they are. Huge fat skis still float fine without rocker.

    Keeping it simple this year:
    179 Obsethed w/ Rossi FKS140- Everyday groomers & park
    183 Benchetlers w/ Atomic FFG14- Soft days
    172 Elizabeths w/ S900-Loaners

Couple pairs of old trouble makers... donno what they are still doing around. Plus some OG Comi's on the wall for asthetics.

    Dialed!

    190 Salomon Czar - STH16
188 Praxis Mtn Jib - FKS
    188 Praxis Protest - FKS
    186 Rossi S3 - FT12

I think the quiv is pretty much dialed now. Might swap out the Protests for some Rocker2s though.
