This past weekend, my fellow co-worker, Tony Miely (manager/co-owner @ 4CRS/ Ex-Team WaveSport paddler) lost his right hand in an ATV accident.
After the accident, he was air lifted to Denver where he underwent 12+ hours of consecutive surgery to try and save his hand. Despite being hopeful that he would be able to keep atleast 3 fingers, it seems that the surgery didn't take and his hand must be amputated. Obviously this will put quite the damper on his paddling not to mention the rest of his day to day life.
