    mammoth ski leases anyone?

Anyone have a ski lease for this season. YC, at your bday you mentioned your place fell through, any new leads?

I may have a small expensive one - bedroom that sleeps 5, but wont know for a few weeks. Mrs. Comish and I are looking for anyone with an extra couple spaces or people potentially looking for a lease.

    Cheers,

    no shit...

Yea, join the club...our 3 bdrm/2-bath fell out this year after renting the same unit for 3-years. We're looking for another 3 or 4-bdrm condo/house Nov-May. Shoot me a PM re: $$/monthly payment etc...

Yeah, our place was rented to the Mammoth School Principal for 2 years.
I'm just going to do what I did last season, stay with various friends. Whenever there's space, I'll shoot you guys a p.m., and there's usuallly space. The only cost involved is buying the host dinner and/or drinks - well, that's just being a mensch - it's not mandatory.

<Thread hijack> Has anyone mentioned an early season mini of sorts yet? I know there's rumblings amoung us Norcal maggots concerning getting over there when Mammoth's open but the rest of Tahoe is not. The official opening date for Mammoth is Nov. 11th, according to thier website. However, I remember them opening earlier...

Any thoughts from you Socal Maggots?

It's been a while since I've been a Socal Maggot, so my memory's a bit fuzzy. They usually open with just Broadway if there's not much snow, and maybe Chair 3 if there's enough snow, right?

AAARRRR!!!! I just saw those cam shots from Alta and CO, where it's been snowing as of late! That, plus the thought of making turns in a month or so makes the stoke rise!!

If there's enough snow, they'll open whatever they can, but usually it's just Broadway. It tends to be pretty messy too (classic ribbon-o-death conditions). I might be down for a mini summit, but I usually prefer to wait until the second or third weeknd, or the first significant snowfall. However, lapping Broadway would be more fun with Maggots.
