I want those pants
^ Truth. That lyric has gotten me through some shit.
Some days I feel sad that Jerry became such a prisoner to the fame and the scene at the end. This is one of those days.
Let there be songs to fill the air…

Sometimes the songs that we hear are just songs of our own.
Listening for the Kean college JGB show - high water mark for me.
It just always drives it home.
I may listen to it over and over tonight.
Thanks Jerry.

I think Aldo is referring to the show that was released as “After Midnight” from 2/28/80and can be found on Spotify, etc.

Thanks all!
From the phasebook
To enhance my fave caption -
“How’s my driving?”
“I think we’re still parked, Jerry”.
That jgb show was amazing. Thanks again!
I stumbled on this video. It’s entertaining. But it doesn’t solve the all time question of what became of the naked guy floating above Jerry in the film of the show:

I've seen parts of this before but it's cool to see all of the clips.
I’ve never seen those before, wow, what I great look at the band hitting one of hits first big peaks. The Sam Cutler/Pigpen interaction as he was explaining British currency was so good

that looked like fun. i tried but couldn't find more of that show. but it led me to a sept 3, 1967 show from rio nido, ca, which is pretty cool place steeped in music history.
it also reminded me of seeing the zen tricksters at the oregon country fair, in veneta, in 1997. they dedicated their set to the 1972 veneta dead show and proceeded to play blistering acid dripping late 60's style dead. hearing a live st stephen > the eleven and DS of that style and era was pretty special for a youngin' like myself. i love that era of the band.

This may induce tracers and flashbacks…
They were my last Dead shows, Drove up after work, pulled over by local cop, somehow a case of beer disappeared when he searched my car (he couldn't find anything, even the two joints I had forgotten about sitting in the ashtray) and slept in my car. Great shows, I remember it was really hot and maybe the local store didn't sell beer on Sunday?
Anyone bidding on anything from the auction?
