A Transcendent Fall Equinox To You All

Today at about 6:30 is the Fall Equinox. So don your pagan finest, imbibe and howl at your favorite idol, celestial object, fish feces or golf pants and celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of winter.

May Ullr and Skadi make mad mellifluous musics this year.

Autumn Equinox Goddess ~ Nimue, Lady of the Door

We are at a threshold between cycles, time to move forward to make way for others. At certain times in our lives we need to take our place in the wider scheme of things, yet may still prefer to act behind the scenes. As we find our security in new surroundings we can work for all beings using our fully developed creative drives.
When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. To do something." Rep. John Lewis

Equal night, equal day. Days gettin' shorter. Snow already on the ground. A time of change, of passing. From fires to pow. Nice.
The snow doesn't give a soft white damn whom it touches.

Yeee-haaa! Summer was excellent, but it's officially over today. Bring on the Fall...as we can see today change is good!

The leaves are turning, there is a bit of new snow up high. The joy and anticipation of things to come is surging.
Those who suffer depression from the lack of sun light (seasonal affective disorder?) should all be prescribed ski lessons.

    from Rockie Horoscope

By the time you read this forecast, anytime after 9:30 a.m. PDT, fall will have arrived. The autumn equinox is always a time of hope, hope that some sort of balance will be reached and, during Libra, that a peaceful vibe will take prominence. Do your bit to achieve that end.

Such timely advice. And, oh, it's about time.

Please feel secure in the new surroundings, as there are many beings overworking their fully creative drives in hopes you'll visit more often.

I've been waiting to post a few pix of the Vail valley from '01 on a tranzsenit day, but i cannot do. But just look into Benny's head (be careful, now) for images of a 50 miler today from Ticonderoga to Middlebury and sorta back.
    I love fall.
