This is really the only message board I use almost daily, so I really don't have much with which to compare. I appreciate your hard work, Owens! At least the smiley face thingies didn't change- I don't really like the ones on the ttips board. They freak me out.

My first reaction was, "Holy shit the avatars and screen names on each post are freaking huge, why?" But since I'm able to turn the avatars off, that's all good

I think the new look really sucks. So much so that I'd rather go watch tv than read todays threads. My eyes hurt. Too much contrast between the white box im typing in now and the black background. It's too much like every other forum now. Simple is good. Why fix it if it ain't broken?

I like the black now; no problem there. But I liked the way that handles, avatars and stuff showed to the left of the actual post - as it is now there's a whole lot of scrolling in order to read the actual post content. Is it possible to change the layout of the posts/threads to make the posts more compact?

In general: props for the effort you put into keeping this forum running!

I liked the old look way better, but with a few changes this would be up there:

-go back to alternating colors of posts
-change the color of the text to white
-put the avatars on the left - they take too much room where they are methinks
-make the font of the titles smaller

otherwise i'll just get used to it. w/e

While we're debating the perfect internet message board, do you guys realize that by having the avatars overhead, full-size images don't fuck up the size of the page? Unless the image is gargantuan, it will fit without distorting the thread.

the blue is a pretty blue but I can't read more than two posts - and I for sure can't scroll - without seeing double. Even now, I can't adjust my eyes after reading just one thread.
