hey owens, not sure if your able to, but I know that Vbulletin has a thread preview function, where if you put your mouse over the post title it will pop up a small preview of the post. If you are able to add that to the new forum functions at some point that would be awesome, I go on a couple forums that I have that and its a very nice feature.

am I dreaming that I'm in gapic land?

Ah shiz, I've died and gone to gapic land. Cool user features, not so cool look. A bit too...happy in this place now with all this color.

The purple shade is freakin' me out. ONS, are you gay?

Remember that scene from T2 when Sarah Conner is dreaming? All the kids are in the playground & waaaaaay off in the distance they see a mushroom cloud & a bright burst?

Then the blast rips through them & they all turn to ash?

    I feel kinda like that.

I understand the update, but can we go back to the avatar and info on the side like it was instead of gapic style on top?

I agree w/ Theodore. I like the avatard and stats on the side...not sure if that is change-able. It's easier to focus on the post content that way. Although that's a double edged sword in some cases!

Oh, it definitly changable. I went through all of this a few months back at bimmerforums. This should make the board run smoother/faster, but the options abound for looks.

Looks a little more subtle, the black made it really obvious that I wasn't working for most of the day. I miss the navigation and logged on user at the top of the page, though - the recent change to a bright red TGR logo was pretty cool, as well.

Anyway, thanks for the upgrade Owens - I suspect there are good features to find.

Also, if you click on "Memberlist" and then click on "Posts" it will reverse the order of the # of posts and you can see who the top ten posters are.

    Unhappy

It's too bright in here. Not really digging the new layout. I like the dark colors and the simplicity of the old board. There's too many buttons that I will never use.
