Imagine if Brit Hume took forged, no I'm sorry blatantly forged documents, from a partisan hack that had been hounding Kerry for more than a decade. Then say put it on one of the most widely viewed news programs. Then denied it. Then said it was "fake but accurate". Then said they had finally been fooled.

This place would have gone absolutely ape shit * 10.

oh and I've mentioned Mr. Rather's indescretions twice since this hit.

The best part is that this isn't 60 minutes first rodeo. They got taken to the cleaners by Jeff wigand.

But we both know that if Fox News had been involved in the same sort of things regarding Kerry, it would have been all over the board.
