However it is up in Cove where I supposed to go.

Do you know if I HAVE to go there or can I change the location?

And I think I have to change my address from the move.

    Thanks for the reminder.

Edit: Imagine that, the linky does that all for me.

Edit 2: Done, gotta mail my form now.

I also recently registered. I take comfort in knowing that my vote cancels out Mr. Gyptians.

It's going to be an incredibly close race again. CO is one of those races. It's going to come down to florida again.

They're both shit to me, but one has had a chance to the job and I don't think he did well enough to give him the job again. Maybe the other guy will be the same way, but then again maybe he won't.

why do you have to register? shouldn't showing up at a polling station with proof of residency suffice?

Hope more people vote. Not for one or another, just vote. It's sad that people complain for four years during a tenure and then don't find the time to vote for a change or to support one day out of those four years.

    Michael Moore starts touring today.

The fed raised interest rates again.

Bush masks are outselling Kerry masks.

    Another American was beheaded today.

Martha Stewart is being ordered to surrender.

Consumer Debt is at an all time high, as are bankruptcies.

    Please vote, for something.

Please please please if you live in a swing state, please vote absentee. Those votes are counted by hand, with no room for any discrepancy whatsoever. We can't have another Florida.

So you guys in COLORADO, Missouri, OREGON, WASHINGTON, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia & Wisconsin, no matter which way you vote, please vote and please register absentee.

    Aye - registered!!

I've never understood the not voting thing. I was stoked to vote. I remember registering the day I turned 18, it was like putting the country on notice that I now had a say in how things were going to go down (prior to the Florida debacle).

Isn't that one of the great things about the US? Exercise your rights!

I voted absentee last Presidential election because I was bow hunting at my cottage, but didn't get the same feeling of civic responsibilty as actually going into a voting booth. However if it helps remove our current President I am willing to sacrifice.

check your states laws. Some allow this, some do not IIRC. Voting is important, and takes very little out of your day. Most importantly: if you don't vote, you can't bitch about the government screwing you. You don't want to lose that right... do you?

Oh,and give lots of money to your local candidates, they need it.
