Just saw the Beastie Boys last night. What an amazing show. I suggest that everyone who has them coming to town go see them. You will not be disappointed....

saw them for the 5th time last week. great show.
fine
I would love to go see them in NYC but no tix and doubtful I can get any.I would really love to see the show though, you're lucky you could catch it!
I did get their new CD and I like it. However my favorites will probably always be Paul's Boutique and License to Ill.
One slight observation...the repeated use of "motherfucker" on the 5 Boroughs makes it seem kind of like they are trying too hard IMO. Not that it fazes me...I probably say it a hundred times more than any of them on any given morning commute downtown. But I think it just doesn't work for them.
Sprite

I hear you Sprite. The new CD is OK, but not amazing. License to Ill, Paul's Boutique and Check Your Head were their best efforts by far. They played a lot of old tracks and busted out the instruments on more than one occasion. They've been practicing since Check Your Head and sounded great playing a lot of new funk...

Saw the Seattle show, good stuff. Nothing like hearing Brass Monkey live. MMM was awesome.
