does anyone know a good site to get accurate snowfall amounts? the ones i'm used to aren't up yet, this not being winter. if we can get 20 total inces out of this i'll be making turns tomorrow morning in either main chute or on the shoulder. good luck to the jibbers. i always see them out at first snow hitting a rail at the bottom of corkscrew.

    Re: it's a beautiful thing

That's not... THIS storm... is it???? Cuz that would be insane. And good. Like really good. I highly doubt it because that is a shitload of snow, but it seems possible because the coverage looks kinda scant further up the mountain on the trails.

P.S. I love the voting options for your pics, Ski Monkey. Way to force the positive attitude!

gotta be this storm. the new lift is in the picture. it still looks like they will be cutting it close on getting the lift up before the real snow. if it keeps putting down a storm every few weeks they'll be hampered pretty bad. btw anyone up for a tour tomorrow. i haven't checked on tonights snowfall amounts, but even if we don't get enough i still plan on hiking with gear.

Link? How ya doo dat? I suck at the internet. And I am also admittedly unfamiliar with Alta. Skied there ONE day of my life, which was not anywhere near enough. Cheers to you all, Utards. I wish you many more of these storms in the very near future.

I have had enough posts for one day, and I'm sure you all agree. Bedtime.

There was about 3-4" on the ground tonight at Brighton when I went up after work. Fun times were had jibbing a park bench someone brought up from the city. Couple of micro-jumps were there too.

Dunno if this fed the jones or made it worse.

    Talking

I am officially starting to jones for the cold & snow now.

I put the second coat of paint on my CMHs last night.

Tonight at Costco while picking up meat for dinner, I stood in the freezer and watched my breath float up & away.

I just blew some bankroll on 3 ski flicks after paying the CC bill.

Next thing I know, I'll be clicking my ski boots 3 times and saying "there's snow place like Alta."
