    Another Downieville Thread

If anyone would like to join, I'm heading up to Downieville Sunday, 9/26 to finally ride some of the trails up there.

Every other chance I had to get up there this year (and last year) had fallen through for one reason or the other, but I really really want to ride there before I have my surgery.

Will probably ride some singletrack in the Nevada City area on Saturday, 9/27 (i.e North Yuba or South Yuba)....but I can't stay overnight due to another committment I already have.

Had a short but fun 12-miler in Auburn today....it was cold, windy, muddy and rainy the entire ride. I knew it would rain, but I prepared for it, by not preparing . I got soaked, caked with mud, was super cold, my glasses kept fogging, got numerous face-shots ripping through puddles and it was the best feeling since my last pow day

No can do Sat, but if you decide to do that other ride on Sun I'm 90% in. (10% chance of the "Hot Date" clause being in effect).

Ummmm. Excuse me, but this thread is about bikes not buses. Let's get back on track please.

I'll more than likely be there. Got on my rig for the first time in a month today. Despite near respiratory failure, I can still climb like a goat. The downhill wasn't so bad either. Count me in this weekend. Where are we gonna stay? It seems to be a little chilly at night up there...

I may be back on. Doc took a look at the foot and pronounced it a "severe sprain" and to not do "anything stupid for the next couple weeks." So, MTB on Sunday?

    Bummer, Im out.

    Maybe next time.

I'm usually off of work every week from 11pm saturday to wednesday afternoon. anyone want to do a run up there on those days, I'm all over it.

I'm getting pissed that I have still never gotten around to riding there. When does their season end?
