    Fins

So I have a fivestar modified fish, shaped in N.H... awesome board. so much fun. The closest well-known production board is Merrick's "POD"

In any event, my board has 5 fin slots. I have played with it as a quad, and a thruster.

I was thinking about popping in some big retroish twin fins, and wondered what people thought about it before I pulled the trigger. Any Idea if it will surf well, and worth the 60 something dollars? Or is it just as kooky as using all 5 fins.

I take FCS fins, so I was thinking of something like the FCS FK-2

Go for it man, I like the way the twinfin slides, you'll notice immediately how loose the board becomes. 5 star is the shit, and all the bros ride em.

I really like the idea of the "tripple threat"

Can those FK-2's handle the torque of a turn, being that they only have 2 fin slots? I see FCS has another Retro Fishy fin that takes a 3 box fin.

I could do without ripping the fin box out of this board.... Ha.

But I will say that once I blow this one up, Im going to get the identical stick. Feckin' love-it.

So I went to the local surf shop, and The guys there sort of seconded my thought that the FK-2 would break the plug.

Ah well. guess ill have my hopes and dreams smashed by the laws of physics.
