Not in the rotation as regularly as space face and others but one I always make a trip to the brewery for when I see it is available. I'll grab you a few when I see it next. I just recently realized I still have Strawjack's shipping box so can easily pack it and get it to you, which I think we discussed doing ages ago...better late than never.

Article says they use ale yeast and Pilsner malt fermented at cold temps, so this is still an ale. Kinda like the exact opposite of a California common (lager yeast fermented at ale temps).

Silly that they find the need to rebrand this as something new... I was cold fermenting IPAs with US56 when I first started brewing 20 years ago and the results were really clean, crisp. I definitely didn’t do it on purpose, just lived in a cold, crappy apartment!

I haven't had an IPA I would describe as "over the top" in about 5-6 years. But I also drank a lot of Kuhnhenn's 11%+ creations when I was developing a taste for IPA's.

DFH 120min counts as over the top in my book. Definitely a "I did it because I could" experience. It's not on my regular shopping list if ya know what I mean.
