Thanks. That's the date we have as well now, but I think it was the 11/6 cans that were odd tasting. It's Hard to describe, but it was less bright and citrusy, had a funky malt/chemical middle and finish.

Ha, ipa taste bud overload maybe! I haven't had Tribute in a while but noticed the same thing between 2 separate cannings approx. 2 months apart of mastermind last month. One was the typical citrus/tropical profile the newer canning seemed very alcohol forward which masked the fruit even on the finish. I have had similar experiences with SOS but that was likely due to the reported adjustment in the hops being used because of a shortage. That issue seems to be old news as recent batches have been fairly consistent from what I can tell.

Off to BBC to stock up on Stainless and Vic Secret before it's gone.

Only for 6weeks, thru January, then back to Vermont for the rest of the season. Big changes afoot, first time home for winter in 19 years but I'm looking forward to re-experiencing VT skiing and touring locally.
I'll have my epic pass, so mostly stowe for inbounds, unless I splurge on a tix.


After mentioning that VT breweries never make a west coast Ipa, I eat my words and rediscover this gem. Resiny, piney, bitter finish. I'm still a fan of the haze, but telemike would love the shit of of this

We've lost another one

23 years of unadulterated ski bumming over 2500 ski day; I had a great, mostly injury free, run and I think I've forgotten more "best powder day Evah!" than most get in a lifetime.

I'm not out of the game, just recalibrate my priorities for the next couple years.
