This particular Skadoosh batch was exceptional. It’s been my favorite Alchemist beer because it’s consistently hazy, citrusy and endlessly drinkable. Sometimes Heady and Focal batches can be sub par but Skadoosh always kills it.

The 1 four pack limit was a bummer but I also picked up some Alena, which made it worth the 30 min drive.

Also dig what Stone Coral is doing lately too. Gotta keep an eye out for that DIPA.

^^ I hate you guys. I’ve been searching for Green Empire for weeks and have had zero luck. Beer stores in Montpelier, Waterbury, Warren, Barre - every place is the same answer “sold out just the other day. “

Only one place has it on tap locally but I want cans, damnit! Cans!

    I'll join the party!

Hank, I think you are somewhat local so I'll grab a few 4pks just pm me next time you are headed north to Chittenden Co.

Skadoosh is by far the best Alchemist beer imo, consistently phenomal even if the hop used is not my fav.

    First world problems.

Like me getting bummed because Swish sells out before I can get it.

If anyone said I'd be this much into beer 15 years ago...or 10 maybe, I would have laughed. I always drank half way decent beer like Sam Adams, Guniness, and way back Pete's Wicked, but I wasn't such the snob I am today. But damn...these beers are stoopid good!

Thanks man! I just might take you up on that next time I’m up that way. I need me some Green Empire despite all other world class beer I’m constantly drinking.

Fat Orange Cat Brew Co- This is Not My Beautiful Beer

This was interesting, on the sweeter end, also juicy but a very short taste and finish for an unfiltered NE ipa offering. Different.

This is at Green Tree Brewery in Le Claire, IA. They also had a Guava variant that was quite tart.

I scorned cans up to about a decade ago, but now it's gotten to the point that when I'm in a good place with a lot of beers on tap, if I see Sip of Sunshine in cans, I say, cool, gimme that, and it's good. Really really good.

Local liquor store sells Dale's Pale Ale in tall boys cold. Same thing. God bless modern canning.

I find it odd that despite the fact I live 15-20 minutes from the brewery, you see the new cans before we do up here. One of the more recent Research IPAs is a single hop Mosaic that is fantastic.

This is the best beer I have had from Great Rhythm. Strata hops from Crosby Hop Farm who are quickly making a name for themselves here on the EC, Foam just did a double exclusively using their hops.
