The stupid man's meeting got cancelled yesterday giving me the flexibility to take off for the AM to dill-un for a quick morning hunt.

Met up with the same random dude as yesterday.

Got setup. Impatience was high, no geese flying when they were.

Went to look at other side of island.

Pee'd.

50 geese flyin in from the North

Run to blind

hunker down

all land short but four who fly around

cross in front and land on the shore just out of range

jump out of blind

sprint across beach

bang

bang

had to rake im a few times

So foggy, I think I've now moved out front on pounds and numbers but am doing worser on %/trip.

ever made goose jerky? only way to eat those things.

early season (wood ducks mostly) opens tomorrow a.m. hunting with the old man like every other early opener. will post pics on this thread this weekend. good luck LB.
