"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: Wow!!! What a ride!"

For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
are you guys going to be selling the dvds out of the village tomorrow?
any word on the rumored 2nd premiere in town,or the village?
Bump. Just got the Press Release about TGR distributing this in my email. Super, duper great movie. A must for any skier's collection, and I feel like a great story that even people who don't have a passion for skiing can watch and really enjoy.
ROBOTS ARE EATING MY FACE.

its a great film..well worth ordering.
Ordered online from TVS yesterday, selected "ground shipping 5-7 days" or whatever, and the thing shows up in the mail today! They overnighted the mofo. Going to pop in the the DVD player momentarily.

Ordered via TVS...pulled the trigger on 600 as well. Stoked.
Showed up today and went straight into the player.
Really enjoyable movie that I've been looking forward to for over a year. Could have maybe been cut short by 10 minutes or more, IMVHO. Not a big deal at all. Better longer than shorter, for sure. Just saying is all.
Mostly agree with Pinner. Great stuff - well worth the watch. A few gems in there, like the footage of S&S, Granite Canyon and some sick leaps into Corbets. Could have maybe lived w/o some of the AK content, but whatever. Great flick. Probably screwed me up mentally for the remainder of the summer while waiting for snow. All antsy and shit, now.
i need to order a copy...looks great!
it was cool to see dave 'the wave' and the 'wall of voodoo' in the trailer. brings back great memories. anyone still hang at the wall of voodoo these days?
I just ordered mine. I hope it has that old footage of Tommy B. starfishing out of S & S at mach 3. That was awesome.
really enjoyed that, it was steep-like. good AK emphasis too![]()

Haven't seen it yet and can't wait, but I have to disagree with this statement. Longer is usually NOT better. Bangers, storyline, cut the mumbo jumbo and get to the goods. Ski and snowboard film companies have been trying to get length out of shit content for YEARS and it is really starting to wear away on me.
You want decent shit to be laying on the edit room floor not in your movie.
IMVHO
Just watched it last night.
makes a very good case for quitting your day job.

J.K. did a killer job with this movie. Filled with classic quotes and clips. My favorite part was Dave "The Wave" airing huge off the nose of Corbet's.
If you haven't seen it, buy it asap.
Watched it last night and it was excellent. It was really cool to hear how completely passionate these guys still are about the entire scene. Very well done and really a piece of modern ski history.

Watched it last night and that was a lot of fun. For those that are too young to know...that old ski gear made everything they were doing MUCH MUCH harder.
Highly recommended to anyone interested in history.
