I was thinking "Meathead". You could pronounce it meth-e-ad if it's a boy or Mea - taid if it's a girl.

Either way, congrats, dood. You will find that fatherdom can't be compared toanything that went before it.

    Cool

I started buying and making toys for a grandchild 5 years ago. But I kept it a secret from MD9.

J will have to find a new shooter. I'll be filming his kid leaning to ski. And I'll be teaching the tyke how to dirtbike.

Being a parent is a lot of work, but it is the best!
I want a 6" travel 20lb MTB. I found the 20lb MTB, but only good for riders under 87 pounds.

Congrats you two. Name the child "Kayidi" (sort of like your idea for a pup named "Deoji"

board, ha ha. The kid'll be OK. It'll be tweaked and it's teachers may often be confused, but it can't get arrested until it's at least 10 anyway.

jibij, crazy how that worked out. I'm hoping for a boy. The mrs is hoping for a girl I guess we're each pulling for our own team. I'm sure we'll be the parents that keep the other parents from letting their kids come over. I'm about to start a series of truly disturbed paintings for the house. An evil priest, a soldier killing himself etc..

Buster, I'm sure it'll usher in a whole new meaning of fear and joy.

frozen, LOL we've already had the talk about our reactions. Sheesh, I didn't have the best reaction either. I think I'll still toss em back at home and house parties, but none of the crazy forays into public. I consider myself very lucky to have never been arrested or put in the tank. Or worse.

THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK NOW! Hehe! if its a boy it will find ways to make a cape, and goggles, and fly around the house.

I know, I have the whole Justice League living at my house.

oh and ask BobMc his little one made a cape out of a Busch light

    Congrats!

Buster already nailed on the name, Mergatroid.

That way when junior DM is running around the neighborhood, shrieks of "Heavens to Mergatroid!" will eek out of a slightly skewed, 4 yr old.

    Best wishes.

Seems to me his shooter is (or at least was) working just fine. Why would he need a new one?

Grats, MD9 and especially GT40 (since its sounds like you've been waiting a while).

    Congrats MD!

J, huge congrats man!! Huge!! Tell the wife I said congrats as well please.

You guys will make great parents.

Sounds like you are only about a month behind us, our alien is due Feb 19th or so.

I too have cleaned up my act quite a bit, funny how being responsible for another life does that too you.

I too am rooting for the boy and Erica for the girl. Pretty normal I guess. I have a feeling it will be a girl though, just to give me a heart attack as soon as the word "boys" comes up.

Awesome MD, very enthused for you guys.

    Congrats dude.

THe name (if the "alien" is a girl) should be something like "Xjfsijsf", but pronounced "Sally". Just think of all the teachers you could annoy the hell out of in her future .

I can just see it now...father and son out in the middle of Hwy 50 exposing themselves to the general gaming public. Ahhhh...that would bring tears to my eyes.

    Congrats says I!!!!
