OK, maybe that was too much.

The Boston Red Sox will never win the series, ever. So what's the point of discussing their rotation against a perennial winner? It's over before it starts....ooops, I did it again.

I'll admit it. I know nothing about baseball. I've never really liked it that much. Basom's pitching head-to-head makes sense to me, but I NEVER would have come up with something like that on my own, and I couldn't begin to refute it if I wanted to.

I only lived in Boston for 3 months. But I went to probably 20 games in that time. I got a hat. I knew the rotation, and caught what you poor fools are probably born with. I'm a poser. I'm a rookie. But I love watching the Red Sox. I really love watching the Red Sox beat the Yankees. And I'll have my hat on when they finally win the pennant.
    It's idomatic, beatch.

i'm just looking for intelligent baseball banter. you don't seem to have the skills. don't beat yourself up too much though.

    Who cares.

It's football season. Hell, even the WNBA playoffs might be more exciting.

Someone jab me in the ribs when the World Series starts.

i'm excited about the games starting today, along with plenty of other people. if you're not, why are you even reading this thread?

your "buckner" replies were tired before you even logged on.

So, is El Duque "crafty" or "wiley"? I always get those two mixed up.

    Stoked for the games.

    Yeah!!!
I'll be there Sunday to watch Pedro mow down a lot of Yankees. Look for me near the tarp along the right field line.
What's the best way to taunt Sheffield?

i think the term is 54. el duke is 54.

he's crafty, this season anyways, because scouts have not been able to get a good book on him. almost like Tiant was in his latter years. he is constantly adjusting his stuff. little tweaks here and there. he is pitching very differently than when the sox last saw him.

most pitchers can't keep adjusting, or adjusting enough to throw off scouts, and still throw strikes. we'll see how long el duke can keep it up. its really impressive.

Is that even how you spell "wiley"? It looks wrong.

Anywayzzzzz, the dude can't throw 85 and he's paralyzing people. It's fun to watch.
