Homework help for grrrr jr.

Grrrr jr. has an assignment to read a book about a sport and to write a book report. The recommendation was to find one about a sports hero.

Anyone know any good books about skiers suitable for a 9 year old? He reads at HS level, but he probably couldn't finish an epic length adult book.

If not about a particular skier, any book about ski racing would be second choice.
